A farewell to the old way of preparing artwork by hand. It involved sending text to a typesetter—who had a limited number of typefaces—by fax, including specifications about how the type had to be set, then picking up the type from the typesetter and placing it on paper to have it scanned with the rest of the artwork at the printer’s.
