The book cover is an interpretation of a work by Abdurrahman Öztoprak.
The strips used throughout the book are the basic element Öztoprak uses to build up his paintings.
The format of the book, the layout, both text and display typefaces follow the vertical character of the paintings…
… so do vertically stacked plate numbers.
Essays by Drs Hoffmann, Heynen, Fuso, Urbani, Sönmez and Eroğlu. Published by the Elgiz Museum in two languages in the same edition and printed by Mas Matbaa in 2012.
